A new UNAIDS report shows that countries are adding to the accelerated action targets, with one million more people getting access to treatment in just six months (January to June 2016). By January 2016, about 18.2 million [16,1 millions–19,0 millions] people that had access to drugs to save lives, including 910 000 children, twice the figure achieved five years ago.If these efforts are continuous and increasing, the world will be on track to achieve the goal of 30 million people being treated by 2020.
